Who We Are:

Swashbucklers is one of Southern California's oldest and largest fencing clubs. Our 'Home Salle' is located in Anaheim, but Swashbucklers covers plenty of territory. Through our close association with the Orange County Fencing Academy, we have representation in 11 communities throughout SoCal.

Our Mission:

“To preserve and promote the ideals of character, personal integrity, self-discipline, and honor embodied in the history and traditions of the sport of fencing through community and mentorship.”

 Goals:

• To provide a community-based based bridge to adulthood for the modern teenager.
• To foster a culture of self-determinism and individual values in modern society.
• To provide a forum for cross-generational recreation and camaraderie within the local community.
• To have fun, be fit, and promote a historic, tradition-rich, highly-athletic sport.

What We Offer:

Multiple places to fence across Orange County and Long Beach, and an experienced and knowledgeable peer group that can help the new fencer gain confidence in their competitive skills, as well as continue to develop new skills while keeping the fundamentals sharp.
